Acupuncture
Julie has been practising acupuncture since 2006. Her interest in
complementary therapies began during her teenage years as a performing
arts student, where she first experienced the powerful healing effects of
acupuncture herself. Inspired by these experiences, she went on to complete
a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture at the
University of Westminster in 2006, before beginning her career at the
renowned Zita West Clinic.
During her five years at the clinic, Julie developed extensive clinical expertise,
particularly in women’s health and fertility, before moving into private practice
on Harley Street. Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge and
qualifications, completing a master's degree in nutrition to support a more
integrated and holistic approach to patient care.
Julie combines acupuncture with nutritional and lifestyle guidance, alongside
mindfulness practices, to support each patient’s overall health and wellbeing.
She believes that, when given the right conditions, the body has a remarkable
capacity to heal itself, and that regulating the nervous system is fundamental
to both physical and emotional wellbeing.
She is particularly recognised for her expertise in fertility and women’s health
and works alongside some of London’s leading reproductive specialists.
Known for her calm, compassionate manner and wealth of experience, Julie is
a trusted practitioner for those seeking personalised, expert support
throughout their fertility and wellness journey.
Every treatment with Julie is completely bespoke and lasts between 45
minutes and one hour. Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she takes a
whole person approach, considering both the physical and emotional aspects
of health before tailoring treatment to the individual, their lifestyle, and their
symptoms. Julie believes that no two patients are the same, and every
treatment plan reflects this philosophy.
Julie is registered with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the British
Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).
